The Burlington Recreation Department and The Real School of Music have teamed up to bring the community a full summer of music. On Thursday nights beginning June 24th - August 5, a Burlington artist, accompanied by Real School's RealBands and also solo performers, will be taking the spotlight on the common! What is the best part about enjoy rock in the park? It is free and you can invite as many friends as you'd like. Kicking off this music series is "At Ease," featuring Eric Leva, Kristie Bezreh, Carolyn Kelly, Katie Campbell and Chelsea Rose. A favorite around town, this group has a large amount of talent packed into an equally large band and is always ready to rock. Consistently performing in local Battle of the Bands and charity events year after year, At Ease hits their audience with a strong mix of original tunes and classic covers as well.
Also in the lineup for the evening is "The Middle Class," a duo including Kristie Bezreh and J.T. Marchant. Influences include The Black Keys, The White Stripes and The Dresden Dolls.
Thank you to The Burlington Rec Dept and The Sullivan Family for making this music series possible! We're hoping it is the first of many years to come.
RAIN DATE: In the event of rain, all performances are to be moved to Real School's 100 person venue The RealRoom, located at 56 Middlesex Turnpike (across from Trader Joe's) in Burlington. Tickets will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis. |
